01 The problem

The edit is signed off. That doesn’t mean it’s deliverable.

A finished cut and a compliant master are not the same thing. The broadcaster or platform catches the fault, the file bounces, and now you’re re-rendering against an air date. Your editors are paid to make the work good, not to police forty pages of delivery spec. That’s the job I do.

Loudness out of spec, or audio levels that won’t pass.
Wrong codec or framerate, captions that drift, a logo outside title-safe.
A legal line a frame short, and a rejection that costs you the slot.
